About John O’Donovan

John specialises in Commercial Property, Banking and Corporate matters, having joined Orpen Franks Solicitors LLP in 1974. John served as Managing Partner of the firm from 1990 until 2009. John services a portfolio of significant commercial and business clients, entrepreneurs and principals across broad sector groups including: retail; the hotel and hospitality industry; licensed trade; development; professional services and general manufacturing. John has served as an executive including a public company listed on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange and a company regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. John has extensive experience and expertise in the general commercial and commercial property arena. Most recently, John has been particularly focused and busy in assisting people in variety of restructuring and insolvency projects and managing the challenges and opportunities that have arisen in our economic climate

Education

John O’Donovan was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland in 1975, having obtained a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) from University College Dublin.
