About Gergana Moran
Gergana joined the Commercial and Corporate Department of Orpen Franks in 2018. She was admitted to the Bar of Sofia in 2003 and practiced with a large commercial law firm where she advised international clients on arbitration and litigation; commercial contracts; environmental and energy law. Following her advanced studies in Hungary and the Netherlands, Gergana joined the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg where she worked on corporate, PPP and structured finance operations of the Bank. After relocating to Ireland, she was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2010. Gergana then enjoyed stints working as in-house counsel first at a large international hotel chain before moving to a full-service multi-national telecom. She has extensive experience advising clients on various aspects of company law and particularly on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, employment law, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and civil/commercial litigation.
Gergana graduated from Sofia University “St Kliment Ohridski” with a Master in Law degree. She was subsequently awarded a scholarship at the Central European University in Budapest to undertake an LL.M. in International Business Law. A postgraduate course in International Trade and European Business Law followed at the TMC Asser Institute in the Hague. Gergana has also obtained diplomas in employment law and civil litigation from the Law Society of Ireland.
