About Daragh O’Donovan
Daragh is a partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department with a particular focus on the construction industry, insolvency, complex debt recovery and landlord and tenant disputes.
Daragh has extensive experience preparing for and running lengthy Commercial Court trials and large scale discovery, including e-discovery.
Daragh has also developed a substantial practice in debt recovery matters and acts for management companies, landlords, lending institutions and retail businesses in assisting with their debt recovery. He has also recently acted in a number of high-profile insolvency actions.
Daragh acts for and advises building companies and contractors in the prosecution and defence of pyrite related litigation. Most recently, he acted in the prosecution of a high profile pyrite related action which ultimately went before the Court of Justice of the European Union in 2015.
Daragh graduated from University College Dublin in 2005 with a Bachelor of Commerce. Daragh was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland in 2009.
