Top Family Lawyer Deirdre Burke has joined forces with Orpen Franks Solicitors LLP, to set up a new Family Law department at the Dublin 4 firm.

“We’ve been in business for over 200 years and have built a reputation for excellence in corporate, commercial and private law, as well as medical and professional negligence,” says Peter Walsh, managing partner at Orpen Franks Solicitors LLP.  “To meet the demands of our clients, we have wanted to expand into family law for some time, but it was a question of finding the right match.”

Burke Legal Family Law Joins Orpen Franks Solicitors LLP

“So, we are delighted that Deirdre Burke, formerly of Burke Legal, has merged her practice into ours,” says Peter Walsh. “Deirdre deservedly won Family Lawyer of the year 2019 and is an acknowledged expert in her field. Joining this practice leaves me free to concentrate on Family Law while my clients also get the best expertise in other legal areas too.”

Her legal awards include Family Lawyer of the Year 2019 and Sole Practitioner of the Year 2018. Orpen Franks Solicitors LLP Continues to Grow

Orpen Franks Solicitors LLP history goes back to the mid-1800s. In more recent times, the practice has incorporated a number of other renowned legal firms, including Tweedy & Co. Solicitors, Reeves Solicitors, and Montgomery and Chaytor Solicitors. In 2015, they added medical negligence and a more specialist probate and trusts expertise to the firm.

Managing Partner Peter Walsh says they have built up solid relationships of trust with their clients over the years. “Some clients have worked with us for 20 or 30 years. Many of them require family law advice from time to time, either for themselves or those in their family circle. At a time of family crisis, it is important that you can turn to a firm you can trust, whether it’s for separation, divorce or custody issues. So incorporating Burke Legal to offer excellence in family law means a lot to our practice and to our current and future clients.”
