NEW APPOINTMENTS AT ORPEN FRANKS

Orpen Franks Solicitors LLP continues to expand the practice and is delighted to announce the appointment of two new partners and an associate solicitor.

Claire Morgan, Partner in the commercial and intellectual property department, has joined the practice from the leading London law firm Lee Bolton Monier-Williams (LBMW). Claire advises individuals, companies and partnerships on corporate restructures, sale and purchase of assets and shares, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements and dispute resolution. Claire also acts for international clients in relation to protected designations of origins. She advises clients on brand protection and enforcement of their intellectual property rights.

Daragh O’Donovan, Partner in the commercial litigation department, has particular expertise in relation to disputes relating to the construction industry, insolvency, complex debt recovery and landlord and tenant disputes. Daragh acts for and advises building companies and contractors in the prosecution and defence of pyrite related litigation. Most recently, he acted in the successful prosecution of a high profile pyrite related action which ultimately came before the Court of Justice of the European Union in 2015.

In the Orpen Franks Solicitors LLP medical and professional negligence department, we welcome Kathrina BrayAssociate Solicitor who has extensive experience in advising clients in a vast array of medical negligence claims to include cerebral palsy claims, acquired brain injuries, orthopaedic injuries, cosmetic injuries, surgical injuries and fatal claims. She is also experienced in the area of professional negligence and in particular she has been involved in claims arising from the provision of negligent advice by various professionals including accountants, engineers and solicitors.
